European Union

First off, I just have to say that I can't see how anyone in their right mind would have been watching the BellSouth while the LPGA Kraft Nabisco Championship was on the air. Only the occasional switch to NBC during commercials to make sure nothing insanely and historically ridiculous had happened was even remotely necessary. I'm sorry, but runaway golf tournaments just don't make for good TV. A 16-year old phenom, a talented young women whose golf game deserves as much attention as her pretty face, a Mexican golf star in search of her first major, and a former champion reascending the heights after a slump = a battle worth tuning in for.

On to the tiers, as the Ryder Cup inches closer the Europeans seem to be gathering steam. Luke Donald has moved back up to Tier IV leaving room for an entire block of European golfers to fill Tier V.
